• Inventory: There are 141 listings available.

That price movement suggests the Tahoe has softened a bit in the used market, which can make it more attractive to buyers now but may also mean future sellers need to price carefully. If you buy at the right number and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned when it comes time to resell. The Tahoe’s broad appeal as a family-focused full-size SUV should help support demand, especially for well-equipped examples.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.46% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 Tahoe makes the most sense if you want a full-size SUV with strong owner satisfaction, a softer used-market price than a year ago, and enough inventory to shop around. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2023 is a sensible primary target when you want a well-liked, family-oriented Tahoe with meaningful market availability.
