How much does the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette cost?

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette earns a 4.77/5 user rating and an 8.17/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its impressive looks, powerful performance, and strong value for money. The Corvette also gets credit for feeling like a high-end exotic while still delivering an approachable ownership experience and easy-to-use technology.

The trade-offs are a cramped cockpit and a confusing layout, and it lacks modern advanced safety features.

For you, that means the Corvette makes the most sense if you want a dramatic, performance-first sports car that still feels usable day to day. It also shows 27.5% good or great deals in the market, which supports its value case.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette reliable?

Owners rate it 4.77/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with buyers repeatedly highlighting the car’s strong value and confidence-inspiring performance. The expert road test also describes it as a car that can feel comfortable in traffic or on a long road trip, which supports the idea that it can be counted on for regular use.

The cost-effectiveness notes also point to strong ownership appeal, with the Corvette’s performance and efficiency balance helping it feel less demanding than many exotic alternatives.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about basic dependability and more about whether the car’s performance-focused hardware and limited safety tech suit your expectations.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Chevrolet Corvette?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base 1LT includes 19-inch front wheels, 20-inch rear wheels, a fully digital instrument panel, eight-way power adjustable GT1 bucket seats, leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an 8-inch touchscreen, and a Bose 10-speaker stereo. The 2LT adds navigation, a performance data and video recorder, a 14-speaker Bose stereo, heated and ventilated seats, a heated steering wheel, lumbar control, wireless device charging, interior cargo nets, and a head-up display. The 3LT adds GT2 bucket seats and more soft-touch leather surfaces, so it suits you if you want the most upscale cabin.
• Powertrain: You get a mid-mounted naturally aspirated 6.2-litre V8 with 490 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic and rear-wheel drive. The optional Performance Exhaust raises output to 495 hp and 470 lb-ft, and the Z51 Performance Package adds a performance rear-axle ratio, heavy-duty cooling, an electronic limited-slip differential, performance tires, and an upgraded rear spoiler.
• Safety package: The Corvette comes standard with a backup camera, front- and side-impact airbags, and rear parking sensors. The 2LT adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and GM’s rear camera mirror. There are no modern driver-assistance features available beyond that, so base-trim shoppers should pay close attention to the safety equipment gap.
• Infotainment: The standard setup is an 8-inch touchscreen with Chevy’s Infotainment 3 system, Bluetooth, OnStar capability, wireless Apple CarPlay, and wireless Android Auto. It also has a logical menu layout, large icons, and a helpful driver-focused screen angle.
• Fuel efficiency: The base 6.2-litre V8 returns 15.0 L/100 km in city driving, 9.8 L/100 km on the highway, and 12.7 L/100 km combined. In testing, it recorded 13.1 L/100 km.

Which 2023 Chevrolet Corvette trim should I buy?

The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette is offered in 3 trim levels: 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT.

Here's the short version:

• 1LT: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the core Corvette experience with the digital gauge cluster, leather upholstery, an 8-inch touchscreen, and the Bose 10-speaker stereo. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model and can live without the extra convenience and safety features.
• 2LT: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds navigation, the performance data and video recorder, a stronger 14-speaker Bose system, heated and ventilated seats, a heated steering wheel, wireless charging, a head-up display, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and the rear camera mirror.
• 3LT: Choose this if you want the most premium cabin, since it adds GT2 bucket seats and more soft-touch leather surfaces throughout the interior. It suits you best if comfort and presentation matter as much as performance.

The 2LT is the trim that brings the key safety-package upgrades.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Chevrolet Corvette?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it pays to compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 120 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.11% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $100,562 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette's resale value?

The current average of $100,562 CAD sits slightly below last year's $118,456 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can be good news if you are buying now but less favourable if you are planning to sell soon. A softer market usually means future sellers may need to price more competitively to attract attention.

Even so, the Corvette’s strong desirability and distinctive positioning help support demand. Buyers looking for a mid-engine sports car with exotic styling and everyday usability are still likely to keep it on their shortlist.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.77/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette safe?

The 2023 Corvette earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

It comes standard with a backup camera, front- and side-impact airbags, and rear parking sensors. The 2LT trim adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and GM’s rear camera mirror, which helps with rear visibility.

The big drawback is that modern driver-assistance features such as forward-collision avoidance, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams are not available at all. That is a notable gap for a vehicle in this price range.

Should I buy a 2023 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.11% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.77/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It delivers mid-engine performance with strong everyday usability and easy-to-use technology.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $92,778 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $100,562 CAD average.
• It offers a serious performance car with strong value and a mid-engine layout.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current-market value, owner satisfaction, and the latest year-specific pricing context, the 2023 is the better default choice. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2022 is the smarter path, especially if you find one with the equipment you want.
