Is the 2023 Audi A5 Sportback a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 4.6/5, which points to strong overall satisfaction. The review summary highlights performance, stylish design, and comfort, along with praise for the stereo system and hatchback utility. Some owners also felt the pricing was on the high side given the vehicle's mileage and model year. Is the 2023 Audi A5 Sportback reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many people enjoy living with over time, especially for its comfort and performance. That kind of positive ownership experience often suggests you can count on it for regular use, provided the specific example has been maintained properly.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the model's appeal and more about how the individual vehicle was treated and serviced before you buy it.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Audi A5 Sportback?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can be choosy if you're comparing a few examples.

• Deal availability: 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 57 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.32% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $37,132 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Audi A5 Sportback's resale value?

The current average of $37,546 CAD sits slightly below last year's $43,823 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale. On one hand, it may help you buy at a more attractive entry point today. On the other, it suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can limit how much value you recover later if prices continue to ease.

If you plan to sell in a few years, the current trend suggests you should focus on buying well and keeping the vehicle in strong condition. A clean history, good maintenance, and desirable equipment will matter more if the broader market remains soft.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi A5 Sportback or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.32% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest balance of owner satisfaction and current market value, the 2023 is the one to focus on. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and shop carefully for the best deal, since the current market still rewards patience and comparison shopping.
