Is the 2024 Audi A5 Sportback reliable?

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Audi A5 Sportback?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can afford to be patient and compare listings closely.

• Deal availability: 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 52 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 24.41% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $41,998 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Audi A5 Sportback's resale value?

The current average of $41,998 CAD sits slightly below last year's $55,559 CAD.

For a future seller, that means the market has already adjusted downward, so your resale outcome will depend heavily on how well the car is kept and how it is priced when you decide to sell. A lower entry price today can help cushion depreciation later if you buy near the bottom of the range. Strong condition and complete service records should matter more when you eventually list it.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi A5 Sportback or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 24.41% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version in this price band and value strong owner satisfaction, the 2024 is the primary path to consider. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year may be worth a look, but the 2024 already offers a softer market and enough inventory to shop selectively.
