Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Toyota Tundra Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 69 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.58% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $56,700 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Toyota Tundra Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $56,700 CAD sits slightly below last year's $64,123 CAD.

That suggests the market has moved down enough to create a better entry point for buyers, but it also means future resale may depend heavily on how well the truck holds its condition and desirability. If you buy at the right price now, you may reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. For a future seller, the key will be whether demand stays steady enough to support values after this softer pricing period.

Should I buy a 2022 Toyota Tundra Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.58% compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest value signal from the current market, the 2022 is worth a close look because pricing has eased and there is some deal availability. If you're especially price-sensitive, you should also compare nearby model years to see whether a lower-priced alternative gives you a better overall fit.
