Is the 2022 Toyota Tundra Hybrid a good car?

It can be a solid option if you want a used full-size truck hybrid and you value current market pricing that has moved lower than it was a year ago. The user rating is 2/5, which points to mixed owner sentiment, so it is worth being selective and focusing on condition, history, and equipment.

With 25.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop carefully rather than rush into the first example you see.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Toyota Tundra Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate buyer’s market, especially if you are willing to compare listings and move quickly on the right truck.

• Deal availability: 25.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 79 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.24% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $55,519 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Toyota Tundra Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $55,519 CAD sits slightly below last year's $63,992 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today. If you plan to sell later, the softer pricing means your resale value may depend more heavily on mileage, condition, and trim appeal than on broad market momentum. For a future seller, a well-kept example should still stand out, but you should expect buyers to be price-conscious.

Should I buy a 2022 Toyota Tundra Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 25.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.24% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the better fit if you want this model year and you can take advantage of the softer pricing. If you are especially price-sensitive, it is also worth comparing nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs any differences in availability or condition.
