Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Toyota Tundra Hybrid?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a standout deal.

• Deal availability: 29.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 79 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.79% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $55,636 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Toyota Tundra Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $55,659 CAD sits slightly below last year's $63,825 CAD.

That decline suggests the model has softened in the used market, which can work against you if you're planning to sell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may still protect more of your value than someone who pays near the top of the range. For a future seller, the key is to avoid overpaying now, because the current trend points to a market that is still adjusting downward.

Should I buy a 2022 Toyota Tundra Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

• 29.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.79% compared with last year.

The 2022 is worth considering if you want a newer Tundra Hybrid and can find one priced near the lower end of the market. If you are more price-sensitive, a different year may give you more room to shop for a better deal, especially if you can find a comparable truck with similar equipment at a lower asking price.
