This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Inventory: There are 93 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.35% compared with last year.

What is the 2022 Toyota Corolla Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $25,199 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,622 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully today, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays subdued. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Toyota Corolla Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.35% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $26,961 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $25,199 CAD average.
• It adds a sharper focus on efficiency, practicality, and everyday usability.

The bottom line: Choose the 2022 if you want the better value and a healthier pool of deal-priced listings. If you're willing to pay more for a newer model year, the 2023 is the secondary path, but price-sensitive buyers should start with the 2022.
