Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Nissan Qashqai?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, which means you can be choosy if you are patient and price-aware.

• Deal availability: 26.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 561 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.04% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $21,163 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Nissan Qashqai's resale value?

The current average of $21,413 CAD sits slightly below last year's $24,070 CAD.

That suggests the market has moved down enough to give you a better entry point than a year ago. If you buy at today's average or below, you may have less downside risk than someone who paid closer to last year's pricing peak. For a future seller, that means resale value will depend heavily on how well you buy in the current softer market.

Should I buy a 2022 Nissan Qashqai or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 26.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.04% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2022 is a sensible choice if you want a model year with a softer price environment and enough listings to compare carefully. If your priority is stretching your budget further, you may also want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best condition and price combination rather than chasing the newest badge alone.
