Is the 2022 Nissan Qashqai a good car?

The 2022 Nissan Qashqai sits in a moderate market position, with pricing that has moved lower versus last year and enough inventory to give you some choice. That combination can work well if you want to shop carefully rather than rush into the first example you see.

The market currently shows 27.9% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you are selective.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Nissan Qashqai?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop with some confidence if you are willing to compare listings closely.

• Deal availability: 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 526 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.44% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $21,174 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Nissan Qashqai's resale value?

The current average of $21,471 CAD sits slightly below last year's $23,973 CAD.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help you if you're buying now and may soften the hit if you sell after a shorter ownership period. For a future seller, the current market points to a value that is still holding reasonably well, but not strongly enough to expect a quick rebound without broader market support.

Should I buy a 2022 Nissan Qashqai or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.44% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2022 is a sensible choice if you want a newer used Qashqai and value the current price softness. If your priority is stretching your budget further, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-priced examples rather than the newest one available.
