What is the 2022 Lincoln Aviator's resale value?

The current average of $41,683 CAD sits slightly below last year's $50,575 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market momentum alone. If you keep the vehicle well maintained and buy at the right price, you may be better positioned to limit depreciation pressure later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Lincoln Aviator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 26.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.58% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $49,657 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $41,683 CAD average.
• It leans even more into calm, comfort-first luxury.

The bottom line: Choose the 2022 if you want the better value and a strong owner-approved luxury SUV. Consider the 2023 if you’re willing to pay more for a newer model and prefer its more comfort-focused character. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2022 is the more compelling starting point.
