Is the 2022 Kia Telluride a good car?

Yes — the 4.6/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its value, luxurious-feeling features, and spacious interior, and they also highlight its safety features and smooth ride. That makes it a strong fit if you want a three-row SUV that feels upscale, works well as a family hauler, and offers a lot of equipment for the money. With 33.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Kia Telluride reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many shoppers, especially those planning to keep the vehicle for the long term. For used buyers, that generally lowers the risk of unpleasant surprises, though you should still inspect any example carefully for wear and maintenance history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Kia Telluride?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you shop patiently.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 174 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.00% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $34,583 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Kia Telluride's resale value?

The current average of $35,219 CAD sits slightly below last year's $44,023 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled from a stronger position, which can make the Telluride more attractive to buyers today but less favourable for sellers trying to maximise return. If you buy now, the lower entry price may help cushion future depreciation, especially if demand stays steady. Strong owner satisfaction can also support resale performance by keeping shopper interest healthy.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Kia Telluride or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.00% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $29,468 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $35,219 CAD average.
• It offers the same core appeal with fewer changes and a lower entry price.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $41,359 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $35,219 CAD average.
• It adds minor styling updates, new tech, and X-Line/X-Pro trims.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around choice if you want the Telluride’s strongest mix of value, features, and market availability. If price matters most, the 2021 is the smarter budget play; if you want newer updates and are willing to pay more, the 2023 is the upgrade path.
