Is the 2022 Kia Telluride a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Kia Telluride earns a 4.6/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Kia Telluride?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without expecting deep discounts everywhere.

• Deal availability: 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 170 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.51% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $34,588 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Kia Telluride's resale value?

The current average of $35,116 CAD sits slightly below last year's $43,627 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled from a stronger position, which can be good news if you are buying now but a softer starting point if you plan to sell later. If you own one for several years, the current pricing trend means resale value may be more sensitive to condition, mileage, and equipment than it was when demand was hotter. Even so, the Telluride’s broad appeal should help it remain competitive in the used market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Kia Telluride or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.51% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $29,760 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $35,116 CAD average.
• It offers a popular formula with limited changes and strong value.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $40,839 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $35,116 CAD average.
• It adds minor styling updates and new technology.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around choice if you want the Telluride’s core strengths with a more favourable price trend than the newer model year. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the better value play; if you want the newest updates and are willing to pay more, the 2023 is the upgrade path.
