What is the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L's resale value?

That price drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, trim, and equipment because buyers are clearly price-sensitive. Should I buy a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.96% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.33/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It blends luxury appeal with three-row practicality and strong standard equipment.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $40,998 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $36,882 CAD average.
• It brings higher prices and newer competition.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the better pick if you want the strongest value and are comfortable shopping carefully among used listings. If you want a newer model year and are willing to pay more, the 2023 is the secondary path.
