Is the 2022 INFINITI QX50 a good car?

With no expert test-drive data available for this model year, the best read comes from the market itself: the 2022 INFINITI QX50 is priced at $26,078 CAD on average, and that sits below its average price a year ago. That combination points to a used SUV that may appeal if you want to shop with some leverage rather than chase a hot market.

The current listing mix shows 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a useful signal that there are still some attractive opportunities if you compare carefully.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 INFINITI QX50?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can afford to be patient and focus on the best-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 63 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.87% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,078 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 INFINITI QX50's resale value?

The current average of $26,078 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,277 CAD.

That suggests the model has moved into a softer pricing environment, which can be helpful if you're buying now but less favourable if you're planning to sell soon. If you own one, the current market points to more modest resale expectations than a year ago. For a future seller, holding the vehicle longer may help if market pricing stabilizes.

Should I buy a 2022 INFINITI QX50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.87% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the better pick if you want to take advantage of softer pricing and a reasonable share of deal-priced listings. If you're especially price-sensitive, it can also be worth comparing nearby model years to see whether a lower entry price outweighs the 2022's current market position.
