Is the 2022 Honda Accord a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Honda Accord earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners repeatedly praise its smooth ride, stylish design, and spacious interior, and many also like the long list of features and comfortable feel on longer drives. That lines up well with its role as a roomy, refined family sedan that is meant to be an easy daily driver with a polished feel. With 28.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Honda Accord reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free experience for many shoppers, with reliability and long-term confidence coming through as part of the appeal. For used buyers, that means the Accord can be a sensible long-term choice, but you should still verify how the specific car has been cared for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Honda Accord?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 28.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 120 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.50% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,608 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $28,053 CAD sits slightly below last year's $29,687 CAD.

That softer pricing can be helpful if you are buying now, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays under pressure. If you plan to sell later, the Accord’s current value trend suggests you should focus on buying well and keeping the car in strong condition. Demand should remain supported by its broad appeal, but the recent price decline is a reminder that resale value can move with the market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 28.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.50% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $24,712 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $28,053 CAD average.
• It offers a more elevated feel with strong safety and broad appeal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $27,515 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $28,053 CAD average.
• It sharpens the formula with a redesigned, spacious, and fun-to-drive package.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around pick if you want the strongest mix of owner satisfaction, current inventory, and softened pricing. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the better value play, while the 2023 makes sense if you want the newer redesign and can find one near the current market average.
