Is the 2022 Honda Accord a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Honda Accord earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, stylish design, and plentiful features, and many also like the spacious interior and comfortable long-distance manners. In practical terms, that makes it a strong fit if you want a roomy, refined family sedan with a near-luxury feel and everyday usability. The owner feedback also highlights reliability and trouble-free ownership as part of the Accord’s appeal, alongside its reputation for being a car you can count on over time. For used buyers, that means the long-term ownership risk looks manageable, but a thorough inspection remains important.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Honda Accord?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 121 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.83% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,598 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $28,099 CAD sits slightly below last year's $29,841 CAD.

That softer pricing trend can work in your favour if you buy now, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays subdued. If you plan to sell later, the Accord’s current pricing suggests you should focus on buying well and keeping the car in strong condition. Demand should remain supported by the model’s broad appeal and practical strengths.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.83% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $25,158 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $28,099 CAD average.
• It offers a more elevated feel with refined safety and broad appeal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $27,570 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $28,099 CAD average.
• It adds a more engaging driving character with a redesigned package.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around pick if you want the strongest mix of owner satisfaction, current inventory, and softened pricing. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the better value play; if you want a newer-feeling Accord without paying more, the 2023 is worth a look.
