This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 23.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 125 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.85% compared with last year.

What is the 2022 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $28,303 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,384 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more confidently today, but it also suggests future sellers may face a more competitive resale environment if market conditions stay similar. Even so, the Accord’s strong reputation, roomy cabin, and broad appeal should help it remain attractive to used buyers. If you keep the car well maintained, its mainstream popularity should support steady demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 23.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.85% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $24,781 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $28,303 CAD average.
• It offers a more elevated feel with refined safety and broad appeal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $27,683 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $28,303 CAD average.
• It adds a more engaging driving character with a redesigned package.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around pick if you want the strongest mix of owner satisfaction, current market value, and broad practicality. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2021 is the better value play, while the 2023 is worth a look if you want the newer-generation feel without paying more than the current-year average.
