What is the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E's resale value?

The current average of $35,458 CAD sits slightly below last year's $39,583 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy with less risk of overpaying, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, buying closer to the lower end of the range gives you more cushion against depreciation. Strong demand for well-priced examples should still support values for clean, desirable listings.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 23.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.42% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $29,155 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $35,458 CAD average.
• It launched Ford's dedicated Mustang-badged EV platform.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $35,798 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $35,458 CAD average.
• It adds more range and BlueCruise improvements.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around pick if you want a balanced mix of price, owner satisfaction, and market choice. If your priority is spending less, the 2021 is the better value path. If you want newer features and can stretch your budget, the 2023 is the stronger upgrade candidate.
