This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile options.

• Inventory: There are 209 listings available.

What is the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E's resale value?

The current average of $36,230 CAD sits slightly below last year's $37,757 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays under pressure. If you plan to sell later, buying near the lower end of the range gives you more room to preserve value. Strong demand should still support the model's appeal, especially among shoppers looking for an electric crossover with broad market recognition.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.04% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $28,518 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $36,230 CAD average.
• It launched Ford's first Mustang-badged EV.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $35,180 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $36,230 CAD average.
• It adds more range and BlueCruise improvements.

The bottom line: The 2022 is a sensible middle ground if you want a well-liked Mach-E with softer pricing than last year and decent deal availability. If your priority is the lowest entry price, the 2021 is the better value play; if you want a newer-feeling update, the 2023 is the stronger alternative.
