Should I buy a 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 28.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.73% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $28,983 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $35,679 CAD average.
• It introduced Ford’s first Mustang-badged EV and a dedicated EV platform.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $35,658 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $35,679 CAD average.
• It adds more range and an enhanced BlueCruise system.

The bottom line: The 2022 is a sensible pick if you want a well-liked Mach-E at a softer price than last year’s market. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the better value play; if you want the newer tech and range improvements, the 2023 is the stronger alternative.
