Is the 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty a good car?

Yes — 4.71/5 is a strong user rating for a heavy-duty pickup, and it lines up with the truck’s appeal as a serious towing and hauling tool. Is the 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty reliable?

Owners rate it 4.71/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback highlights a truck that drivers trust for rugged build quality, capability, and heavy-duty use, which are all encouraging signs for reliability-minded shoppers. The recurring praise for towing strength and load handling suggests this is the kind of truck owners feel they can count on for demanding work. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the truck’s core purpose and more about finding one that has been maintained properly after hard use.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 222 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.21% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $65,578 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty's resale value?

The current average of $65,601 CAD sits slightly below last year's $68,483 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more selectively now, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if prices continue to normalise. For a seller, the current trend points to a truck that still holds meaningful value, but not one that is appreciating. If you buy well and keep the truck in strong condition, you should be better positioned when it comes time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.21% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 is a strong choice if you want a heavy-duty truck with modern tech, broad configuration flexibility, and proven owner satisfaction. If your priority is getting the most truck for the money, this year looks appealing because prices have eased and there is enough inventory to compare options. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to keep an eye on listings near the low end of the range and move quickly when a well-equipped truck appears.
