The user feedback highlights a truck that feels rugged, capable, and dependable for towing and heavy-duty use. That kind of owner confidence matters if you plan to keep the truck for demanding work, because it suggests the model has earned trust in real-world use. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about whether it can do the job and more about finding an example that has been maintained properly and not overworked.

The current average of $65,503 CAD sits slightly below last year's $68,576 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a good entry point for you as a buyer, but it also means future sellers may not see the same pricing strength they did a year ago. Even so, the truck's heavy-duty capability and broad appeal should help support demand over time. Because the model has strong owner satisfaction and is built for serious towing and hauling, well-kept examples should remain attractive to used-truck shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.48% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a heavy-duty truck with strong owner approval and a market that has eased a bit from last year, the 2022 is a sensible place to start. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, equipment, and asking price.
