Used 2022 Ford F-150 for Sale nearHalifax, NS

How much does the 2022 Ford F-150 cost?

Prices have softened 9.17% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,343 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for used-truck shoppers.

Is the 2022 Ford F-150 a good car?

Yes — the 4.9/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, advanced technology, and powerful performance, and many appreciate the wide range of options and features, especially in higher trims. That lines up well if you want a full-size pickup with broad capability, modern tech, and lots of configuration choices. With 33.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is meaningful shopping room in the market.

Is the 2022 Ford F-150 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a truck that feels dependable in daily use, with praise for its smooth ride and strong performance. That said, the model’s documented trouble spots include the transmission, engines, four-wheel drive system, A/C system, infotainment connectivity, and certain recalls, so used buyers should pay close attention to service history and inspection results. For long-term ownership, the main risk is buying a truck with unresolved mechanical or electrical issues.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Ford F-150?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,343 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.17% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $41,755 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Ford F-150's resale value?

The current average of $41,755 CAD sits slightly below last year's $45,972 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already absorbed some of the model’s premium, which can help future buyers but may temper short-term seller gains. If you buy at or below today’s average, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation compared with someone who paid closer to last year’s higher pricing. Strong demand for well-equipped full-size pickups should continue to support values, especially for desirable trims and clean examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford F-150 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.17% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $36,348 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $41,755 CAD average.
• It introduced the redesigned cabin and available hybrid powertrain.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $49,333 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $41,755 CAD average.
• It adds the Raptor R and the Heritage Edition.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around choice if you want a strong mix of owner satisfaction, inventory, and softened pricing. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the smarter value play; if you want newer special editions and are willing to pay more, the 2023 is the step-up option.
