Is the 2022 Ford Bronco Sport reliable?

Owners rate it 4.92/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Ford Bronco Sport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on standout listings.

• Deal availability: 27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 587 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.92% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $25,707 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Ford Bronco Sport's resale value?

The current average of $25,744 CAD sits slightly below last year's $29,563 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make resale values a bit softer in the near term. If you buy now, you may want to focus on a well-kept example with strong equipment and a clean history to help protect future value. A lower entry price can also help offset some depreciation risk if you plan to keep the vehicle for several years.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.92/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.92% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.92/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $22,729 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $25,744 CAD average.
• It launched with lively, capable appeal for both commuting and adventures.

The bottom line: Choose the 2022 if you want the stronger current-market mix of owner satisfaction and deal availability. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2021 is the better value path and still delivers the Bronco Sport’s rugged character.
