Is the 2022 Chrysler Grand Caravan a good car?

With no expert test-drive score to lean on, the best read here comes from the market itself: the 2022 Chrysler Grand Caravan is trading at an average of $27,540 CAD, and that sits below its average price a year ago. Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chrysler Grand Caravan?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 114 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.34% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,523 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chrysler Grand Caravan's resale value?

The current average of $27,540 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,780 CAD.

For a future seller, that points to a market that has eased from its earlier level, which can affect how quickly you recover value later. If pricing stays soft, you may need to be more competitive when you list. On the other hand, buying at today's lower average can help reduce your exposure to further depreciation.

Should I buy a 2022 Chrysler Grand Caravan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.34% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the better fit if you want to shop a year with softer pricing and a decent share of deal-priced listings. If you're especially price-sensitive, it can also be worth comparing nearby years to see whether a lower entry price outweighs the 2022's current market position.
