Used 2022 Chevrolet Corvette for Sale nearEdmonton, AB

How much does the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette cost?

Prices have softened 1.72% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 79 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette earns a 4.85/5 user rating and an 8.17/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Performance, Cost effectiveness, and Technology.

Owners consistently praise its stunning looks, impressive performance, comfortable ride, and strong value for money. The mid-engine layout also stands out as a major draw, especially if you want a distinctive sports car that feels special without pushing into true exotic-car pricing. With a 36.7% share of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette reliable?

Owners rate it 4.85/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable in the ways that matter to enthusiasts: strong performance, satisfying day-to-day usability, and a package many buyers feel confident living with over time. The expert review also describes it as easy to get the most out of and remarkably comfortable on rough roads, which supports the sense that it can be a trouble-free sports car for regular use.

Chevrolet’s warranty coverage adds some ownership reassurance, and the Corvette’s value proposition helps offset the usual risks of buying a used performance car. Even so, you should still budget carefully for maintenance and inspect any example closely, because a high-performance two-seater can be more expensive to own if it has been driven hard.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Chevrolet Corvette?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base 1LT is the least expensive way in, but it misses some equipment that you may want in daily use. The 2LT adds more comfort and convenience features, while the 3LT is the most richly equipped choice. If you want the best balance of equipment and value, the 2LT is the one to focus on.
• Powertrain: You get a 6.2-litre V8 with a dual-clutch eight-speed automatic transmission. Output is strong, and the car’s mid-engine layout helps with balance and traction.
• Safety package: Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are the notable driver-assistance features, but they are not available on the base 1LT trim level.
• Infotainment: Every Corvette gets an 8-inch touchscreen, a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a built-in WiFi hotspot. Navigation is standard on all trim levels except the base 1LT.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates it at 12.6 litres per 100 kilometres combined, with 15.1 city and 9.6 highway.

Which 2022 Chevrolet Corvette trim should I buy?

The 2022 Chevrolet Corvette is offered in 3 trim levels: 1LT, 2LT, 3LT.

Here's the short version:

• 1LT: This is the entry point, but you give up some convenience and safety equipment that many shoppers will want. It makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and can live with a simpler spec.
• 2LT: This is the best-value trim for most buyers because it adds more comfort and convenience without pushing all the way to the top of the range. It’s the trim to target if you want the sweet spot.
• 3LT: Choose this if you want the most upscale cabin and are willing to pay for it. It suits buyers who want the most complete Corvette experience.

The safety-related feature gap on the base 1LT is worth keeping in mind when you compare trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chevrolet Corvette?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 79 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.72% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $88,907 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette's resale value?

The current average of $92,778 CAD sits slightly below last year's $94,400 CAD.

That softer pricing trend suggests the market has become a bit more favourable for buyers, which can make it harder for a future seller to command a premium unless the car is especially well equipped or exceptionally clean. At the same time, the Corvette’s strong enthusiast appeal helps support demand, especially for examples with desirable trim content and careful ownership history. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation compared with a less distinctive sports car.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.85/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette safe?

The Corvette is light on driver-assist tech, and the notable features are blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. Those systems are especially useful given the car’s limited rear visibility, but they are not available on the base 1LT trim level.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

You should also keep in mind that this is a sports car with limited safety equipment compared with more mainstream vehicles. If safety tech matters to you, you’ll want to prioritise a higher trim rather than the base model.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.72% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.85/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It keeps the same trim lineup and adds minor updates, including new exterior colours and an IMSA GTLM Championship Edition.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $84,262 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $92,778 CAD average.
• It offers the Corvette experience with a power-operated open roof.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $100,562 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $92,778 CAD average.
• It brings a more exotic-feeling mid-engine character and sharper performance.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, satisfaction, and current-market availability, the 2022 is the sensible default. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2021 can save you money, while the 2023 is the better pick if you want to spend more for a newer-feeling step up.
