Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chevrolet Colorado?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 170 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.27% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $33,466 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $35,487 CAD sits slightly below last year's $41,395 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable point if you plan to keep the truck for several years. For a future seller, the softer current pricing means there may be less room for appreciation, so condition, mileage, and trim choice will matter more when it is time to resell. Stronger-equipped examples should still hold broader appeal because shoppers continue to value the Colorado’s capability and more polished cabin.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.27% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $43,486 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $35,487 CAD average.
• It adds a more thoroughly modern design with stronger off-road focus and updated tech.

The bottom line: Choose the 2022 if you want the better value and a truck that already delivers strong owner satisfaction, modern tech, and solid capability. Consider the 2023 if you are willing to pay more for the newer redesign and a more up-to-date overall package; if price matters most, the 2022 is the smarter path.
