Is the 2022 Chevrolet Camaro a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Chevrolet Camaro earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its performance, sleek design, and impressive power, and many also appreciate the added convenience of Apple CarPlay. That fits the Camaro’s role as a compact, rear-wheel-drive performance car that still keeps its muscle-car character while offering coupe and convertible body styles. With 25.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Camaro reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also points to a car that feels dependable in the ways owners care about most, with praise centred on performance, features, and overall enjoyment. That kind of repeat satisfaction matters if you want a used sports car you can count on for regular driving as well as weekend fun. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the rating and more about finding a well-kept example that has been maintained properly.

If you find a listing below $55,388 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Camaro's resale value?

The current average of $63,534 CAD sits slightly above last year's $62,988 CAD.

That small increase suggests the Camaro has held its value reasonably well in the current market. For a future seller, that kind of stability can be helpful because it points to steady buyer interest rather than sharp depreciation. The model’s performance image and broad appeal across enthusiasts can also support demand when it’s time to list your car.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Camaro or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 25.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $48,272 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $63,534 CAD average.
• It delivers classic muscle-car appeal with familiar power, handling, and style.

The bottom line: Choose the 2022 if you want the newer market position and are comfortable shopping for value within a stable price range. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2021 is the better price-sensitive path and still gives you the Camaro experience.
