The current range still leaves room for well-kept examples to hold value better than average, especially if they are priced near the lower end of the market. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Camaro or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.18% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $48,665 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $60,485 CAD average.
• It keeps the Camaro's familiar muscle-car character with fewer updates.

The bottom line: Choose the 2022 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price movement, deal availability, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2021 is the better value path, especially if you find a clean example.
