Used 2022 Buick Enclave for Sale nearToronto, ON

How much does the 2022 Buick Enclave cost?

Prices have softened 13.83% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 74 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2022 Buick Enclave a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a 4.67/5 model with an expert rating of 7/10. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Form and function.

Drivers consistently praise the Enclave for its smooth and quiet ride, spacious interior, and comfortable, luxurious feel. The refreshed cabin and updated technology also help it feel more modern, while the three-row layout makes it a strong fit if you need family-friendly space.

The main trade-offs are its poor value for money and poor fuel economy. If you want a comfortable, well-equipped three-row SUV and you care more about refinement than bargain pricing, the Enclave fits that brief well.

With 35.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s a decent amount of market flexibility for you to shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Buick Enclave reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels reliable, comfortable, and dependable for everyday use, with many drivers describing it as a model they can count on over time. The expert evaluation also highlights Buick’s quiet, drama-free driving character and its smooth, premium ride, which supports the impression of a well-sorted family SUV.

Buick also backs the Enclave with a warranty that should help reduce early ownership anxiety, and the brand’s value-oriented positioning suggests running costs should stay reasonable.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that repair and fuel costs may still feel high if you’re sensitive to operating expenses.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Buick Enclave?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Essence, Premium, and Avenir trims all come well equipped, but the base-level setup is less lavish than the higher trims. The Avenir stands out with its unique grille, front and rear fascias, body-coloured lowers, taillamps, and 20-inch wheel design, while its cabin adds unique trim and seat stitching, heated second-row captain’s chairs, and climate-controlled front seats. If you want the most upscale feel, the Avenir is the one to focus on.
• Powertrain: You get a 3.6-litre V6 with direct injection and a nine-speed automatic transmission, with 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. All-wheel drive is standard in Canada, and the Enclave is tuned more for smooth, quiet progress than for excitement.
• Safety package: Buick Driver Confidence Plus is standard on all Enclaves and includes automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, lane-change alert with blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning, rear park assist, following-distance indicator, and automatic high-beam headlights. Premium trim adds enhanced automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera, head-up display, and rear pedestrian alert.
• Infotainment: Essence gets an 8-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless phone charging. Premium and Avenir add navigation, while Premium and Avenir also get an 8-inch reconfigurable driver information display. The system supports up to 10 devices and can keep two smartphones active at once.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates it at 13.6 L/100 km in the city, 9.6 L/100 km on the highway, and 11.8 L/100 km combined. In testing, it averaged 11.6 L/100 km.

Which 2022 Buick Enclave trim should I buy?

The 2022 Buick Enclave is offered in 3 trim levels: Essence, Premium, Avenir.

Here's the short version:

• Essence: This is the best-value choice if you want the refreshed Enclave experience without stretching to the pricier trims. You still get the standard safety tech, the V6 powertrain, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging, and the core comfort and space that define the model.
• Premium: This is the smart step-up if you want more convenience and safety tech. It adds navigation, the larger reconfigurable driver display, the 10-speaker Bose audio system, and extra driver-assistance features such as adaptive cruise control and a surround-view camera.
• Avenir: This is the trim to choose if you want the most upscale Enclave. It brings the most distinctive styling, the richest cabin presentation, and the most complete feature set, including the available Technology package items that further improve ride and visibility.

For safety-package coverage, the standard Buick Driver Confidence Plus suite is on every trim, while Premium adds several extra driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Buick Enclave?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 74 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.83% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $36,563 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Buick Enclave's resale value?

The current average of $36,777 CAD sits slightly below last year's $42,678 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the Enclave easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, softer pricing means you may need to be more competitive when it’s time to list, especially if similar examples are widely available.

On the other hand, the Enclave’s strong comfort, space, and owner satisfaction can help keep demand steady among shoppers who want a refined three-row SUV. Well-kept examples with desirable equipment should still attract attention.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Buick Enclave safe?

The 2022 Buick Enclave earns five-star ratings from NHTSA overall and four-star ratings for rollover resistance from NHTSA. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave it Good ratings in all but one crash test, where it received an Acceptable score.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Buick Driver Confidence Plus is standard on every trim and includes automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, lane-change alert with blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning, rear park assist, following-distance indicator, and automatic high-beam headlights. Standard safety equipment also includes a Safety Alert driver’s seat, a rear-seat reminder system, and an HD reversing camera.

If you move up to Premium, you get enhanced automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera, head-up display, and rear pedestrian alert. The updated side-impact IIHS result is the main caveat to keep in mind.

Should I buy a 2022 Buick Enclave or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.83% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 refresh adds updated styling, wireless smartphone integration, and standard driver-assistance tech across the lineup.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $33,277 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $36,777 CAD average.
• It is easy to like and especially upscale in top trim.

The bottom line: If you want the refreshed look, updated tech, and standard safety equipment, the 2022 is the better all-round pick. If your priority is saving money and you’re comfortable giving up the newer updates, the 2021 is the more budget-friendly route.
