Is the 2022 Audi Q7 a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Audi Q7 earns a 5/5 user rating, and it fits well if you want a three-row midsize luxury SUV with a practical cabin and strong everyday usability. Its front and second rows are comfortable and spacious, and the cargo area is a major strength for family use and day-to-day hauling. The trade-off is that the third row is smaller and best suited to children, so it works best if you do not need adult-sized space back there. With 34.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2022 Q7’s appeal comes from its refined, technical interior, practical packaging, and strong usability rather than from any single flashy feature. It also brings useful technology and a well-rounded cabin layout that should make daily ownership feel polished and straightforward. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that premium-luxury upkeep can be costly if the vehicle has been poorly maintained.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Audi Q7?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 153 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.84% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $37,356 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $37,356 CAD sits slightly below last year's $47,796 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Q7 more attractive to buyers today but may also limit near-term upside for a future seller. If you buy at the right price, you may have less depreciation pressure than someone who purchased when values were higher. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.84% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 Q7 is the right pick if you want a refined, practical three-row luxury SUV and you can find one priced competitively. If you are especially price-sensitive, it is worth comparing nearby model years to see whether a similar Q7 offers a better entry point, but the 2022 remains a strong choice when condition, equipment, and asking price line up.
