Used 2021 Mazda CX-30 for Sale nearConcord, ON

How much does the 2021 Mazda CX-30 cost?

Prices have softened 4.06% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 190 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2021 Mazda CX-30 a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Mazda CX-30 earns a 4.77/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

Owners consistently praise its sporty design, interior quality, and driving dynamics, and many also like its luxury feel at an affordable price. That lines up with the CX-30’s use case as a small SUV that aims to feel more polished and satisfying than many mainstream rivals. If you want a subcompact SUV that blends style, confidence, and a more premium personality, this one fits that brief well. Good and great deals account for 28.4% of listings, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Mazda CX-30 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.77/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable, with praise centred on its fun-to-drive nature, interior quality, and overall satisfaction. The expert assessment also describes the CX-30 Turbo as sophisticated and satisfying rather than overly aggressive, which supports the impression of a well-sorted small SUV. Mazda’s approach here suggests a vehicle built to feel composed over time, especially if you value refinement as much as performance.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright durability and more about whether the cabin space and feature set meet your day-to-day needs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Mazda CX-30?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The GT trim brings black or white leather, a frameless rearview mirror, SiriusXM satellite radio, navigation, a 12-speaker Bose audio system, and an Active Driving Display. The lower grades are more basic, so check whether the features you want are included before you buy.
• Powertrain: The turbocharged Skyactiv 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and standard i-Activ all-wheel drive. Output varies with fuel octane, and the setup is tuned for strong response rather than hardcore performance.
• Safety package: Mazda equips every CX-30 Turbo with a full collection of safety features and advanced driver-assistance systems. The GT trim adds adaptive front lighting, front and rear parking sensors, and rear automatic emergency braking.
• Infotainment: An 8.8-inch display is standard, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The system is not a touchscreen, and the GT trim adds navigation and a premium Bose audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: The CX-30 Turbo is rated at 9.3 L/100 km combined, and the road test average was 9.6 L/100 km.

Which 2021 Mazda CX-30 trim should I buy?

Here's the short version:

The GT Turbo: This is the trim to focus on if you want the turbocharged engine, the most complete equipment list, and the most upscale cabin experience. If you want the best-value version of this model year’s turbocharged CX-30, this is the one to target.

The GT trim also adds the adaptive front lighting system, front and rear parking sensors, and rear automatic emergency braking.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Mazda CX-30?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 28.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 190 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.06% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,892 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Mazda CX-30's resale value?

The current average of $24,775 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,823 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a bit more buyer-friendly, which can make future resale timing more important if you plan to sell later. If prices continue to ease, sellers may need to be more competitive to stand out. On the other hand, a model with strong demand and a premium feel can still hold attention well in the used market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.77/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Mazda CX-30 safe?

The Mazda CX-30 earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), and it earns five-star ratings in every NHTSA assessment except rollover resistance, where it receives a four-star rating.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Mazda equips every CX-30 Turbo with a full collection of safety features and advanced driver-assistance systems, and they are described as effective without being irritating. There is no high-speed lane-centring assistance function, though. The GT trim adds adaptive front lighting, front and rear parking sensors, and rear automatic emergency braking.

Should I buy a 2021 Mazda CX-30 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 28.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.06% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.77/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It pairs effortless acceleration with a premium design and impressive technologies.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $24,910 CAD, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $24,775 CAD average.
• It offers a more spacious cabin and an even more upscale interior.

The bottom line: The 2021 is the better pick if you want the strongest mix of value, satisfaction, and premium character at a slightly lower price. If you can stretch for the 2022 and want a newer-year alternative with a more spacious cabin, that is the sensible secondary path for price-sensitive buyers who still want the CX-30 formula.
