Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Lexus NX?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the best-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 29.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 136 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.46% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $33,262 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $33,415 CAD sits slightly below last year's $34,976 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If prices stay near this level, future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. The good news is that steady owner satisfaction can help support demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 29.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.46% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $41,536 CAD, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $33,415 CAD average.
• The redesign brings a more modern, more dynamic, and more technologically advanced feel.

The bottom line: Choose the 2021 if you want the better value and are comfortable with its older design and more traditional appeal. If you want a newer-feeling NX and are willing to pay more, the 2022 is the stronger upgrade path. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2021 is the smarter starting point.
