Is the 2021 Jeep Wrangler a good car?

Yes — 4.7/5 is a strong user rating for this model year. Owners consistently praise the off-road capability, power, and comfort, and they also like the adventurous spirit and manual features that make the driving experience feel more engaging. For you, that means the Wrangler fits best if you want a vehicle with genuine off-road ability, strong customisation potential, and everyday convenience features such as wireless smartphone integration and heated front seats. With 30.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some attractive opportunities.

Is the 2021 Jeep Wrangler reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many people count on for its capability, power, and overall dependability. The same reviews also suggest that the Wrangler’s appeal holds up over time because it delivers the rugged experience buyers expect. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that its compromises in comfort and practicality may matter more as the vehicle ages.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Jeep Wrangler?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 568 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.87% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $32,864 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Jeep Wrangler's resale value?

The current average of $32,864 CAD sits slightly below last year's $38,157 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Wrangler has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means a future seller may face a softer market than last year. If you buy at today’s average, your resale position will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Strong demand for the Wrangler’s off-road character should still help support values, especially for well-kept examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Jeep Wrangler or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $35,422 CAD, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $32,864 CAD average.
• It adds more powertrain variety and the first Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrid.

The bottom line: The 2021 is the better value if you want the Wrangler experience at a lower average price and with more room to negotiate. If you want newer powertrain choices and can stretch your budget, the 2022 is the better secondary path.
