2021 Jeep Wrangler Reviews, Pricing & Specs

What owners say
"Overall, Jeep Wrangler owners are enthusiastic about their vehicles, praising the off-road capabilities, power, and comfort. They love the adventurous spirit it embodies and the manual features that enhance the driving experience. However, some reviewers pointed out drawbacks like limited cargo space, a lack of modern tech features in certain trims, and a few interior quirks such as water dripping inside when the door is opened in the rain."
Was really in the market for a Sahara as we do very little of road. Found a loaded Rubicon that checked all the boxes so we went with it. Although the suspension is a little stiffer then the Sahara it was not too bad. Love the one touch roof and removable rear windows.
March 13, 2025I’m moving from a 2004 TJ rubicon to a 2021 JL rubicon unlimited lots of improvements on the new jeep, the TJ is more hard core off-road. No other models compare to a jeep
February 9, 2025Covered in rust bubbles. Electronic issues etc. I believe it was underwater

June 7, 2026I love the Rubicon lift as well as the red accents and my Sirius Guardian! Yes, $30k less than brand new! Nothing, it's my dream car! I would compare it to my previous Sahara!
May 19, 2025I have been considering a Jeep since I left high school; shortly after the YJ made it’s debut. Turning 50 this year, I finally decided it was time to get myself the Jeep I had always wanted. That Jeep brought back the Islander for 2021 seemed to be the perfect sign. Truth me told, before buying my Jeep I almost bought a Ford Bronco. I had been given my VIN and (first) Bronco build date in April of 2021. Continued debacles caused by both poor supply chain management and hard top engineering and production issues would result in that build date being pushed back 5 times until Ford finally confessed their sins and stopped hard top production for “retooling.” I cancelled my Ford order and went to look at a Jeep JL Unlimited Islander that week. The Jeep Brand is iconic. It is the off roader the competition uses as a bench mark. Unlike it’s predecessors, the JL couples off road prowess with on road comfort and precision. The bulletproof 3.6L V6 is offered with a 2kW e-torque generator (making it a “mild hybrid”), which not only boosts fuel efficiency but also improves torque as the 8 speed Automatic transmission switches gears. The ease of use of the Freedom Panels, and their build quality, is second to none. Controls are at my fingertips and the upright driving posture is just perfect. I have had big SUVs (Sequioa) and small Sedans (Sebring) and even sports cars (Firebird) - but none fit like a glove; the way the JL does. The Jeep JL is everything I wanted. Is it the right vehicle for everyone? Of course not. If it were, we wouldn’t have any other makes and models. When it comes to the off road segment though, despite Ford’s benchmarking the Wrangler in an attempt to take the title, the Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited truly remain in a league of their own. Thank you Ford, if it weren’t for your failure to launch, I might not have experienced the genuine joy I feel behind the wheel of my Wrangler.
August 28, 2021Great improvement from my 2008 Rubicon; Uconnect works wonderfully & is convenient; the position of the windshield really reduces wind drag at higher speeds; digital instrument cluster is aesthetically pleasing; overall, ride is smooth & comfortable.
March 12, 2021I bought a used red 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Willys edition with the eTorque V6. This is my first Jeep and I absolutely love it! Yes it rides like a truck, yes its a bit noisy sometimes but there is just something that feels so good driving a Jeep Wrangler. This package has nice features like Apple carplay, upgraded 33 mud tires, blacked out wheels, variable auto cruise control, etc. So all together its a really nice package and well worth it used at $43k.
August 27, 2022This ones a manual shift vehicle - better know how to drive a stick, as the shift into 3rd is subtle. The windows roll up manually. Theres no electronic door lock - all manual. Im fine with all that - its like real driving, not some super comfy alternate reality pod. Leave your cell phone in your pocket. If you want frills, buy something else. Its powerful (V-6), roomy, and rides high, with a good view. It does have a backup camera, which is nice, especially for pulling a trailer. Mine has tow hooks plus the hitch. I see this as a working vehicle and for having fun in rough conditions - driving on the beach or crappy weather, no problem. If I ever have to handle disaster conditions, this is the right vehicle. We get hurricanes here, so I expect to need it.
February 28, 2021I traded in my 2020 2-Door Wrangler Sport S, for the 2021 4-Door Wrangler 80th Anniversary Edition (both hard-tops). This Package is LOADED with options inside, and out. I traded in my 2 door for more space, but did not want to part ways unless it had every option my previous one had. It is difficult when buying used to find a package with everything you want option-wise internally to match with externa appearance. The 80th Edition had everything I wanted and more! I drove over 2 hours across state lines to secure the deal. First thing I noticed right away, is that the ride was smoother and the cabin was quitter than my 2 door. If you are a FIRST TIME Jeep buyer, test drive more than one before buying! Small package upgrades can make a HUGE difference in your everyday driving, so please consider when purchasing your JEEP.
January 25, 2023This Jeep is amazing. Had everything I was looking for. Cold package, remote start, power windows, hard top. Loving the added features with all the normal Jeep positives.
