How much does the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

There are 126 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado earns a 4.6/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its value, performance, and features, especially in the Z71 and ZR2 models, and many also note the good ride quality and decent gas mileage. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a midsize pickup that leans into capability and equipment rather than trying to be a downsized full-size truck. With 30.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is also a healthy amount of market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary points to a truck that many owners find dependable enough to live with day to day, with repeated praise for value, performance, and features. At the same time, the Colorado’s reputation is shaped by known transmission concerns, so reliability confidence depends heavily on the specific used example you choose. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is manageable if you inspect the truck carefully and prioritise condition and service history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Chevrolet Colorado?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and focused.

• Deal availability: 30.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 126 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.95% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $31,475 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $32,876 CAD sits slightly below last year's $36,508 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you are thinking about future value, the softer pricing trend means your eventual resale price may be more sensitive to mileage, condition, and trim choice. Higher-demand versions should still be easier to move than base trucks, especially if they are well kept.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 30.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.95% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2021 Colorado is the better pick if you want a used midsize pickup with strong owner approval, a softer price trend, and enough inventory to compare options. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby year may still make sense, but the 2021 is the cleaner choice when you want a balance of value, capability, and market availability.
