Used 2020 Toyota Sienna for Sale nearBarrie, ON

How much does the 2020 Toyota Sienna cost?

Prices have softened 6.61% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 108 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers comparing used Siennas.

Is the 2020 Toyota Sienna a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Toyota Sienna earns a 4.71/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Form and function, Technology, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise the smooth driving experience, comfort, and spacious cargo area. They also highlight the safety features and reliability, which help make it feel like a dependable family vehicle. The main trade-offs are pricing concerns and the absence of certain automated features on lower-end models.

That fits the Sienna’s role well: it is aimed at you if you need room for people and gear, and it stands out further if you want the only minivan in its class with AWD for this model year. With 25.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Toyota Sienna reliable?

Owners rate it 4.71/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers’ feedback points to reliability, dependability, and a trouble-free ownership experience, with many saying they feel confident counting on it for family use. The expert notes also support that impression by describing the Sienna as a practical, versatile minivan that is built to handle daily family duties with ease.

Toyota’s standard safety and convenience equipment adds to the sense that this is a vehicle you can live with for the long haul. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about outright durability and more about whether the specific example has been maintained well and suits your needs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Toyota Sienna?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The CE comes relatively well equipped, but it is the most basic version and lacks some of the family-friendly conveniences found higher up the range. The LE adds sliding dual power side doors, heated front seats, easy-clean upholstery, and a centre console storage compartment, making it the best-value choice for many families. The SE adds 19-inch wheels, a mesh grille, fog lights, leather upholstery, and a power liftgate, while the XLE adds leather-trimmed seating, a power moonroof, woodgrain accents, and power flip-out rear side windows. The Limited adds premium leather seats, a heated leather-trimmed steering wheel, JBL audio, rear-seat entertainment, HID headlights, and rain-sensing wipers.
• Powertrain: All trims use a 3.5-litre V6 with 296 horsepower and 263 pound-feet of torque paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, while AWD is available on all trims other than the base CE. AWD versions are limited to the 7-passenger configuration, so you give up the 8-passenger layout if you choose it.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense (TSS-P) is standard and includes lane-departure alert, lane-keep assist, forward-collision warning and avoidance with pedestrian detection, dynamic cruise control, and automatic high beams. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available on SE models and above.
• Infotainment: The base CE gets a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth connectivity, and five USB ports. Higher trims can get an 8-inch screen, and the Limited adds navigation and a JBL 10-speaker premium audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: The front-wheel-drive Sienna returns 12.6 L/100 km in the city, 9.1 on the highway, and 11.0 combined. AWD versions return 13.4 L/100 km city, 9.6 highway, and 11.7 combined.

Which 2020 Toyota Sienna trim should I buy?

The 2020 Toyota Sienna is offered in 4 trim levels: CE, LE, SE, and XLE.

Here's the short version:

• CE: This is the entry point, and it already brings useful equipment like a 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, remote keyless entry, and four-zone automatic climate control. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the Sienna, but it is the least feature-rich choice.
• LE: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers. It adds sliding dual power side doors, heated front seats, easy-clean upholstery, and extra family-friendly storage and controls. If you want the recommended Canadian configuration, this is the trim to target with AWD.
• SE: This trim adds a more distinctive look, a power liftgate, and available extras such as navigation and rear-seat entertainment on AWD versions. It suits you if you want more convenience and a sportier appearance.
• XLE: This trim adds leather-trimmed seating, a power moonroof, woodgrain accents, and power flip-out rear side windows. It is the right pick if you want a more upscale feel without going all the way to the Limited.

The safety package is standard across the range, while blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert start on SE models and above.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Toyota Sienna?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on strong listings.

• Deal availability: 25.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 108 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.61% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $32,551 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Toyota Sienna's resale value?

The current average of $34,062 CAD sits slightly below last year's $36,473 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Sienna has become a bit more buyer-friendly in the used market, which can make it easier for future sellers to attract attention if they price competitively. The current trend also implies that values have already adjusted downward, so a well-kept example may need to be positioned carefully to stand out.

For you as a future seller, that means condition, trim, and equipment will matter more when it comes time to list. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Toyota Sienna safe?

The 2020 Toyota Sienna earns five out of five stars in crash testing by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) gives it Good ratings in many areas, including side crash, rollover crash, and moderate front overlap crash.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense (TSS-P) is standard, and it includes lane-departure alert, lane-keep assist, forward-collision warning and avoidance with pedestrian detection, dynamic cruise control, and automatic high beams. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available on SE models and above.

One thing to keep in mind is the twitchy steering noted in testing, which makes the standard lane-keeping and collision-avoidance tech especially relevant for highway driving.

Should I buy a 2020 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 25.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.61% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It is the only minivan in its class to offer AWD for this model year.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $41,821 CAD, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $34,062 CAD average.
• It brings a major redesign with a standard hybrid powertrain.

The bottom line: If you want the best value and specifically like the 2020 Sienna’s AWD advantage, this year is the smarter buy. If you are willing to pay more for a newer redesign and hybrid efficiency, the 2021 is the better long-term alternative. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2020 remains the more approachable path.
