How much does the 2020 Porsche Macan cost?

There are 116 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of choice in the used market.

Is the 2020 Porsche Macan a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Porsche Macan earns a 4.7/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its performance, handling, and luxury feel, and many compare it favourably with competitors. It also fits well if you want a compact SUV that trades some interior space for sharper road manners and a more premium driving experience. With 31.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a reasonable chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2020 Porsche Macan reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with comments that reinforce its strong long-term reputation. That said, used buyers should still budget for the usual premium-SUV ownership costs and inspect any example carefully, since a strong reputation does not remove the risk of deferred maintenance.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Porsche Macan?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 116 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.65% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $38,045 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Porsche Macan's resale value?

The current average of $38,045 CAD sits slightly below last year's $49,183 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market momentum alone. Because the Macan still has solid owner appeal, well-kept examples should remain easier to move than neglected ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Porsche Macan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.65% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2020 if you want the updated Macan formula with strong owner approval and a market that has become more approachable. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year may offer a lower entry price, but the 2020 remains the better pick when you want the balance of performance, quality, and value.
