Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Nissan Sentra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.90% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $17,312 CAD, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $14,797 CAD average.
• It adds a more polished design and a smarter overall feel.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2020 if you want the better value and are focused on comfort, efficiency, and strong owner satisfaction. Consider the 2021 if you are willing to pay more for a newer-feeling design and a more refined overall package.
