Is the 2020 Nissan Qashqai a good car?

With no expert test-drive score available for this model year, the best read comes from the market itself: the 2020 Nissan Qashqai sits at an average used price of $17,274 CAD and has 33.1% of listings marked as good or great deals. That combination points to a model year that can make sense if you want to shop carefully and compare individual listings rather than buy the first one you see.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Nissan Qashqai?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can afford to be choosy without waiting forever.

• Deal availability: 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 305 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.77% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $17,274 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Nissan Qashqai's resale value?

The current average of $17,274 CAD sits slightly below last year's $19,579 CAD.

For a future seller, that means the market has already moved lower, so your resale value may be more sensitive to mileage, condition, and equipment than it would be in a rising-price environment. If you buy well now and keep the vehicle in strong shape, you may be better positioned to protect value later. If you plan to sell soon, the softer pricing trend suggests you should focus on a clean, well-documented example.

Should I buy a 2020 Nissan Qashqai or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.77% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2020 is the better fit if you want a year with meaningful deal availability and a lower average price than last year. If you're more price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a slightly older or newer example gives you a better balance of price and inventory.
