Should I buy a 2020 Nissan Kicks or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.60% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.62/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $17,702 CAD, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $15,771 CAD average.
• It adds more features while keeping the same easygoing, value-first character.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2020 if you want the better value and are comfortable with its straightforward, no-frills approach. If you want to spend more for a newer version with extra equipment, the 2021 is the better secondary path for buyers who are less price-sensitive.
