What is the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $42,486 CAD sits slightly below last year's $48,400 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market momentum alone. If you keep the vehicle well maintained and choose a desirable configuration, you may be better positioned when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.22% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $52,747 CAD, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $42,486 CAD average.
• It adds Coupe models for a more distinctive body style.

The bottom line: The 2020 is the better value if you want a well-liked luxury SUV at a lower average price. If you care more about a newer-feeling lineup and a more expressive design, the 2021 is the better secondary path, but you will pay more for it.
