Used 2020 Mazda CX-3 for Sale nearPeterborough, ON

How much does the 2020 Mazda CX-3 cost?

Prices have softened 13.03% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 129 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Mazda CX-3 a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Mazda CX-3 earns a 5/5 user rating, which supports its appeal if you want a small crossover that feels more upscale and more engaging than many rivals. It was designed to deliver a stylish look, a fun-to-drive character, and a solid list of driver-assist safety features, while also fitting buyers who value Mazda’s premium feel over maximum practicality. Its cramped back seat and limited cargo space mean it makes the most sense if you prioritise driving enjoyment and a polished cabin over outright utility. With 29.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some market flexibility for shoppers.

Is the 2020 Mazda CX-3 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2020 CX-3 is described as having proven reliable over the years, and that matters if you want a used small crossover with a reassuring ownership profile. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about durability and more about whether the vehicle’s compact cabin and cargo area will still suit your needs over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Mazda CX-3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 129 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.03% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $19,131 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Mazda CX-3's resale value?

The current average of $19,131 CAD sits slightly below last year's $21,997 CAD.

That price movement suggests the CX-3 has become more accessible for used buyers, which can make it easier to move later if you buy at the right number. For a future seller, the softer market means you may need to price competitively to stand out, especially if similar examples are already sitting in the lower end of the range. The model’s appeal should still help support demand, particularly among shoppers who want a stylish, efficient small crossover.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Mazda CX-3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.03% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 CX-3 is a smart pick if you want a used subcompact crossover with a premium feel, strong owner satisfaction, and a market that has become more favourable for buyers. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also use the softer pricing to compare nearby years and choose the best-equipped example in your budget.
