How much does the 2020 Mazda CX-3 cost?

There are 140 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2020 Mazda CX-3 a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Mazda CX-3 earns a 5/5 user rating, and its overview points to a small crossover with stylish design, fun-to-drive character, and strong safety ratings. It is a good fit if you want something compact and reassuring on the road, though you should expect a cramped back seat and limited cargo space. The model’s 28.6% share of good or great deals suggests there is still some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2020 Mazda CX-3 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also points to a well-rounded small crossover with strong safety ratings and a straightforward powertrain setup, which can be reassuring if you want a used vehicle that feels settled rather than complicated. For long-term ownership, the main risk is less about mechanical complexity and more about whether the tight cabin and limited cargo space will still suit your needs over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Mazda CX-3?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 140 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.12% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $19,366 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Mazda CX-3's resale value?

The current average of $19,509 CAD sits slightly below last year's $22,199 CAD.

That decline suggests future sellers may need to price competitively if they want to move the vehicle quickly. The CX-3’s appeal as a stylish, fun-to-drive small crossover should help keep interest steady, especially among buyers who value safety and efficiency. Still, its limited space means resale strength will likely depend on how well your example is equipped and priced relative to similar listings.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Mazda CX-3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.12% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 Mazda CX-3 makes the most sense if you want a compact, stylish crossover with strong safety credentials and you are comfortable giving up rear-seat and cargo space. If you are price-sensitive, the softer market and decent deal availability make this a good year to watch closely, but you should still prioritise condition and equipment over chasing the absolute lowest price.
