We already have a 2008 KIA Sedona that has 270 thousand miles on it with very little repairs. We just purchased a 2020 and love it. More room and better gas mileage than an SUV. Great vehicle for families.

Kia Ex fits my needs. Roomy inside, handles easy and rides smooth. Just enough tech for me @62 yrs old. Do wish mine had power lift tail gate. But so far very satisfied.

Excellent value and quality compared to Honda Odyssey. Sadly Honda has gone downhill and also has poor customer service.

How much does the 2020 Kia Sedona cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $19,423 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $19,066 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $22,593 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $22,593 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −14.03% |
Prices have softened 14.03% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 68 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.
Is the 2020 Kia Sedona a good car?
Yes — owners rate it 4.8/5, and the feedback points to a spacious interior, strong value compared with other family vans, and a smooth ride. Many owners also mention good gas mileage, which adds to its appeal if you want a practical family vehicle. With 32.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.
Is the 2020 Kia Sedona reliable?
Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
The owner feedback also highlights a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with many drivers saying it feels like a vehicle they can count on for family use. For used buyers, that kind of long-term confidence can help reduce the risk of unexpected regret, especially if you prioritise a minivan that should stay useful over time.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Kia Sedona?
This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.
- Deal availability: 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 68 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 14.03% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $19,066 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2020 Kia Sedona's resale value?
The current average of $19,423 CAD sits slightly below last year's $22,593 CAD.
That softer pricing suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy at the right number now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later. Strong value perception and family-friendly appeal can help support demand when it is time to sell.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2020 Kia Sedona or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2020 if:
- 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 14.03% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, owner satisfaction, and current market softness, the 2020 is the primary year to target. If your priority is stretching your budget further, you can also compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best condition and asking price for the money.
