Is the 2020 Hyundai Accent a good car?

The 2020 Hyundai Accent is a moderate-value choice if you want to shop with a clear price benchmark and some room to compare listings. With the current average price sitting below last year’s level, you have a market that leans more in your favour than it did a year ago. 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a useful share of stronger-value options to target.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Hyundai Accent?

You’re looking at a moderate buyer’s market, so it makes sense to be selective rather than rushed.

• Deal availability: 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 57 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.99% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $13,885 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Hyundai Accent's resale value?

The current average of $13,909 CAD sits slightly below last year's $15,804 CAD.

For a future seller, that points to a market that has eased from its prior level, which can make timing and condition more important when you decide to list. If you keep the car well maintained and price it competitively, you’ll be better positioned against the current inventory. The fact that nearly a third of listings are already tagged as good or great deals also means buyers have options, so strong presentation matters.

Should I buy a 2020 Hyundai Accent or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.99% compared with last year.

The bottom line:
The 2020 Hyundai Accent makes sense if you want a used car with a clear market price and a decent chance of finding a value-oriented listing. If you’re price-sensitive, keep an eye on the lower end of the range and compare carefully across available listings; if you want the simplest path, focus on the 2020 and buy when you see a well-priced example rather than waiting for a perfect deal.
