This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the best-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 101 listings available.

What is the 2020 Honda Ridgeline's resale value?

The current average of $33,107 CAD sits slightly below last year's $34,480 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy with less risk of overpaying. If you plan to sell later, the current trend means resale values may remain under some pressure unless demand strengthens. Even so, the Ridgeline’s practical appeal and owner satisfaction should help it stay relevant with used-truck shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Honda Ridgeline or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.98% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $37,794 CAD, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $33,107 CAD average.
• It adds a more traditional truck look and updated styling.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2020 if you want the better value and are drawn to the Ridgeline’s comfort-first approach. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer look and a more conventional truck presence, the 2021 is the better secondary path.
