Is the 2020 Genesis G70 a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Genesis G70 earns a 4.6/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its excellent value for money, strong performance, and luxurious interior. Many also like the acceleration and handling, which make it fun to drive. With 20.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2020 Genesis G70 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a car that many drivers feel good about living with over time, especially when it comes to dependable everyday use and confidence in the ownership experience. That said, used buyers should still pay close attention to maintenance history and overall condition, since long-term ownership risk depends heavily on how the car was cared for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Genesis G70?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, so it rewards patience and comparison shopping.

• Deal availability: 20.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 44 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.42% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,080 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Genesis G70's resale value?

The current average of $24,881 CAD sits slightly below last year's $29,768 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make resale timing more important if you plan to sell later. If values continue to track below prior-year levels, you may need to price your car competitively to attract attention. On the other hand, a lower entry price today can help support demand from shoppers looking for a used luxury sedan with strong perceived value.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Genesis G70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 20.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.42% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 is a solid choice if you want a well-liked used luxury sedan and you can find one priced near the lower end of the market. If you're especially price-sensitive, it can also make sense to compare nearby model years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, mileage, and asking price.
