Should I buy a 2020 GMC Sierra 2500HD or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.01% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.86/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a heavy-duty pickup with a more premium feel and strong owner approval, the 2020 is a sensible target. If your priority is stretching your budget, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-priced examples rather than the newest one you can find.
